We had a great time celebrating our staff and the end of the 2023-24 school year and end-of-year staff breakfast! We had several staff members celebrating milestones in their years of service including:

Join us to cheer on our GFW Athletes who are heading to state tournaments!
Justin Messner took second in the 200M and placed third in the 400M advancing to the State Track and Field meet in both events.
Garret Schmidt took second in the 110 High Hurdles and was the section champion in the 300 intermediate hurdles advancing to the state Track and Field meet in both events.
Alex Johnson placed second in the Discus and advanced to the State Track and Field meet.

It was a beautiful day for some kickball! Students are celebrating a great school year with the end-of-the-year kickball tournament.

Senior athletes gathered to celebrate their classmates who have signed to continue their careers at the college level!

Paisley Rettmann stepped in to serve as Principal for the Day at GFW Elementary today. As part of her principal duties, she met with Dr. Horton, did a safety walk in the building, checked on students in their classrooms, and supervised recess. Way to go Paisley!



During last week's student of the month celebration, we had some students share poetry and writing that they did in Mrs. Busse's 8th grade ELA class!


Today we pause to remember and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice.


GFW Public Schools is proud to provide a Summer Food Program again this year!
The Summer Food Program will run from Monday, June 10 to Friday , August 9, Monday through Friday. Free meals will be served for those 18 and younger at GFW Elementary School in Gibbon.
Breakfast will be served from 8-9 a.m.
Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Meals will have to be eaten in the school cafeteria.
No meals will be served the week of July 1-5.
