The GFW CTE department is inviting businesses to attend our CTE College & Career Fair!
Career and Technical Education is an overarching title used to describe all of the classes taught that support students in Agriculture, Manufacturing, Shop/ Trades, Family Consumer Sciences, Business, Visual Arts and Healthcare classes.
The fair serves as the capstone event to close out our National FFA Week activities and will highlight local businesses and post secondary opportunities available for our students.
The CTE College & Career Fair is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21, 2025. In the event that we would need to postpone due to weather, our reschedule date will be April 4, 2025.
Students in grades 8-12 will visit the fair to browse various businesses/colleges and visit with representatives to learn more about the opportunities they offer.
Vendors will need to be ready to explain:
What they do for a career
What education is needed for that career field
If they have any current or future employment opportunities
Share your connection to the National FFA Organization.
For those who would represent the Post Secondary area, please highlight your programming and what you can offer students. We encourage you to share this opportunity with other programs at your institution, so that we may have as many different areas of CTE represented as possible!
