Mrs. Cari Panitzke
ELL Teacher Elementary School, Jr/Sr High School – Gibbon & Winthrop, MNBiographical Info
¡Hola!
My name is Mrs. Cari Panitzke but most of the students know me as “senyora Pay” (Sra. P) since that means Mrs. P in Spanish. That is what I teach and we have 3 levels at GFW HS with an independent level 4.
I am in my 19th year of teaching at GFW and the years have gone by so quickly, I can’t believe it. Winthrop has certainly become my home. I have officially been here longer than any other place in my life. I have met so many wonderful people and families from these communities that it keeps me going strong. I am also an EMT on the Winthrop Ambulance Service where I take pride in helping others to the best of my ability.
In 2006, I finished my master’s degree in education through Saint Mary’s University, Twin Cities campus, with my cohort being in Hutchinson. I have enjoyed learning new ways to enhance my teaching with the experiences I have obtained during this program. I graduated in October, 2006 and am very proud of this accomplishment!
I earned my bachelor’s degree from MSU in 1993 and started teaching for GFW in 1994 first in the areas of ESL and Special Ed. Then the Spanish position opened up and here I am, not too far away from my hometown; Redwood Falls, MN.
