GFW Public Schools uses technology to differentiate and enrich learning for all students. In kindergarten, students are provided a 1:1 iPad, and students in 1st through 12th grade are issued a Chromebook for educational use. The program uses digital curriculum materials, student collaboration tools, and individualized instruction in all subject areas with the goal of enhancing student learning. Staff use 1:1 devices to remove barriers for students and offer equitable access to education, enhance and accelerate learning, leverage technology for individualizing instruction, promote collaboration, increasing student engagement, and strengthen the 21st-century skills necessary for future student success.

Flipped Classroom
Flipped classroom is a “pedagogical approach in which direct instruction moves from the group learning space to the individual learning space, and the resulting group space is transformed into a dynamic, interactive learning environment where the educator guides students as they apply concepts and engage creatively in the subject matter” (The Flipped Learning Network, 2014).
